Welcome to the arizona state society of the children of the american revolution!
Arizona features four local societies:
Members hold officer and committee chairman roles, learn the format of business meetings, develop speaking skills, use parliamentary procedures, learn American heritage through annually changing contests, and participate in community service projects. Our state society meets twice each year. Local societies meet monthly, typically August through May. Learn more about each society on their individual pages.
- Hallie Orme Thomas Society (Phoenix, AZ) - our oldest and first C.A.R. society organized in 1925
- Kachina Society (Tucson, AZ) - our second society in Arizona enabling the creation of a state society in 1963
- Hohokam Society (Tempe, AZ)
- Coronado Society (Sierra Vista, AZ)

Eligibility for membership:
"Any boy or girl under the age of twenty-two is eligible for membership in the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution who is lineally descended from a man or woman who, with unfailing loyalty, rendered material aid to the cause of American Independence as a soldier, sailor, civil officer, or recognized patriot in one of the several Colonies or States, or of the United States, provided that the applicant is personally acceptable to the Society." (Article III, National Bylaws)
